3RD AUGUST TO DECEMBER 2021

From 3rd August 2020 until December 2021 there will be a one lane closure (site side) on Blythe Road to facilitate loading and unloading from the cranes. A two way system will be maintained by manned temporary traffic lights.

3RD AUGUST TO END OF NOVEMBER

A logistics area along Olympia Way will be created from the 3rd August 2020. This will involve re-surfacing and upgrading the footpaths and roadways for HGV loadings. Vehicular and pedestrian access will be maintained along Olympia Way during these works.  Streetlights will be relocated along Olympia Way towards the end of August. From 6th – 13th October Olympia Way will be fully closed to vehicles but will remain open to pedestrians and cyclist can dismount.

3RD AUGUST

Between 7pm – 9pm on 3rd August 2020 piling rigs will be leaving site. We are moving them outside of normal working hours due to their size and abnormal load restrictions.

1ST AND 2ND AUGUST

A section of Blythe Road and Beaconsfield Terrace Road is planned to be closed on Saturday 1st August to Sunday 2nd August 2020. The team’s ability to undertake the works is weather dependent. If they are unable to carry out the works on the weekend of the 1st, the road closure and works will be postponed until the weekend of the 8th and 9th August. Vehicles will arrive at 06:00 during this time and works will commence at 08:00 and finish at 18:00 on the Saturday and 20:00 on the Sunday.
