We have now completed foundation works on Olympia Way for the temporary project accommodation scheme, which will contain welfare facilities such as a canteen and changing rooms for site staff. This initial phase of work required the diversion of the NorthSouth footpath and we thank you for your patience over this time. The next phase consists of installation of a raised gantry so that event traffic can continue to pass along Olympia Way beneath the temporary accommodation.

For the safe execution of these works, footpath closures are required. Details are shown on the pedestrian diversion plan.

  • From 26th May for approximately 2 weeks the pedestrian footpath on Olympia Way will closed to facilitate the construction of the raised gantry.
  • From 07th June for approximately 4 weeks the pedestrian footpath on Olympia Way will be closed to facilitate the lifting and positioning of the modular cabins, The mobile crane will be positioned at the Southern end of Olympia Way which will also close the pedestrian crossing that heads East to West on Hammersmith Rd.

The above dates are still subject to final agreements and if they change then we will update you on progress. We aim to keep disruption to a minimum and apologise for any inconvenience at this time.
